INTRODUCTION: The real joy of Christmas is not in giving and getting material gifts, but rather in receiving God*s unspeakable gift, "The Lord Jesus Christ". This gift has been received by millions and still is as unspeakable as ever. Amen.
I. THE SHINING STAR — Matthew 2:2-9
A. Accurate in its timing.
B. Accomplished its task.

II. THE SHEPHERDS SURPRISE — Luke 2: 10a
A. The Heavenly Host praising God.
B. The haste of the shepherds to see the Saviour.
