1. THEY ARE WISE WHO SEEK CHRIST (Matt 2:1. 2) Not called wise men because of this, but in this they were wise (Is. 55:6; John 12:21; Phil. 3:8, 9) II. THEY ARE WISE WHO SEEK TO KNOW GODS WORD (Luke 24:45) It is appalling the ignorance that there is regarding God's Word (Dan. 12:9, 10; John 8:32; II Tim. 2:15). III. THEY ARE WISE WHO HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING OF GODS WILL (Eph. 5:17) Through His Word we know His will. Seek to know more and more (Col. 4:12; K Eph. 6:61 c.) IV. THEY ARE WISE WHO SEEK TO DISCERN SPIRITUAL MARKERS (Col. 1:9) Not all are able to discern the spiritual (I Cor. 2: 14: 3:1; Col. 3:1, 2) V. THEY ARE WISE WHO KNOW THE TIMES IN WHICH WE LIVE (I Chron. 12:32) The light of prophecy is heeded by the wise (II Peter 1:19: Luke 21:28; Matt. 16:3). VI.
