I. IF CHRISTMAS COMES IT IS A TRANSFORMING EXPERIENCE TO THE INDIVIDUAL.

The message of the angels was "Fear not . . . I bring you good news of great joy." The Lord told Isaiah that the one to be born would be called "Emmanuel, God with us." Thus when Christmas comes it:

3. The fear of life. (John 10:10)

B. Restores Joy.

1. The joy of living. (Romans 5:1)

2. The joy of loving. (Ephesians 5:2)

II. IF CHRISTMAS COMES IT IS A TRANSFORMING EXPERIENCE TO THE FAMILY.

2. The joy of forgivenes. (Matthew 6:12, 15)

III. IF CHRISTMAS COMES IT IS A TRANSFORMING EXPERIENCE TO THE CHURCH.

2. The fear of deceit. (I Corinthians 13:4-7)

3. The fear of death. (Colossians 1:17-20)

B. Restores Joy.

1. The joy of faith. (Colossians 3:16, 17)

2. The joy of hope. (Revelation 21)
