"Preach The Word"
The Unspeakable Gift
Text:2 Cor. 9:15 says, "Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift."
Introduction: Word failed Paul to describe the gift of Christ to and for us. Paul seemed to coin this word "unspeakable" since it is not found again in the Bible. He is saying that Jesus is a wonder that is beyond the description of man. We cannot fully express with our tongues how wonderful Jesus is but it is a joy to try.
I. It Is A Prophesied Gift (Gen.3:15; Isa.7:14; Isa.9:6).
II. It Is A Universal Gift (1 Cor.5:7).
III. It Is A Needful Gift (Jn.14:6; 1 Jn. 2:23; 5:12).
IV. It Is A Complete Gift ( Col. 3:11; Col.2:20).
V. It Is A Satisfying Gift (Ps.107:9).
VI. It Is A Precious Gift (1 Pet.2:7).
VII. It Is A Free Gift (Rom.5:18).
VIII. It Is A Victorious Gift ( 1 Cor.15:57; 1 Jn. 5:4).
