Introduction:

From this text I would like to use the following three points:

1. God’s Promise - I will send an angel

2. God’s Plan - To keep thee

3. God’s Preparation - Bring thee into the place

I. God’s Promise - I Will Send An Angel Before Thee

A. God used angels to guide His people

1. Abraham - Gen.22:15

2. Apostles - Acts 5:19-20

B. God uses angels to guard His people

1. Paul - Acts 27:23

2. Daniel - Dan. 6:22

C. God uses angels to gather His people

Lazarus - Luke 16:22

II. God’s Plan - To Keep Thee

Keep in mind the Holy Spirit ministers to our spiritual needs and angels minister to our physical and temporal needs.

A. Keep Thee - Heb. 1:14 - John 10:28 - Phil. 1:6

B. Bring Thee - Ex.23:22 - I will be an enemy unto thine enemies and an adversary to thine adversaries.

III. God’s Preparation - Bring Thee Into The Place

God said I will send an angel to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. This reminds us of the words of the Lord Jesus in John 14 where He said I go to prepare a place for you.

A. A Bountiful Place

Flowing with milk and honey.

B. A Beautiful Place

After the wilderness and scorching desert a place where the streams are flowing and the palm trees waving.

C. A Blessed Place

Fellowship together
