Intro: There are certain physical marks which mark some families. Also there are some marks which help identify the children of God.
I. THEY HAVE THE LIFE OF GOD....Jn 11:25
A. The Quality of Their Life, Eternal the Very Life of God....Jn 3:15
B. The Quantity of Their Life, Everlasting....Jn 3:16; 5:24
C. The Quota of Their Life....Jn 10:10
-not just life, but abundant life....
-not just joy, but joy unspeakable....
-not just peace, but peace that passeth....
-not just a cup full, but runneth over....
II. THEY HAVE THE LIGHT OF GOD....I Jn 1:5
The light of God gives:
A. Discernment....
B. Directions....
C. Discipline....
III. THEY HAVE THE LOVE OF GOD....I Jn 4:11
A. Love for the Scriptures....Psm 1:1-3
B. Love for the Saints....I Jn 3:14
C. Love for the Sinners....Jn 3:16
IV. THEY HAVE THE LONGING FOR GOD....
