Text: 2 Tim. 4:1-18 Introduction: 1. His supply for our needs-
Phil. 4:19
I. EMOTIONAL NEEDS- God supplies our need for "lonliness." We need fellowship with other believers. II. PHYSICAL NEEDS God supplies comfort for the body. We can function better spiritually when we are comfortable physically. III. MATERIAL NEEDS Paul needed books for his study and the parchments for writing letters to the churches. We need to take in through study and give out through witnessing. IV. MORAL NEEDS If we do not have God's control in our lives we will seek to get revenge on those who do us wrong. Paul allowed God to reward him according to his works. V. SPIRITUAL NEEDS At Paul's first appearing before the court of Rome, he had no man to appear with him. All forsook him. There are times we feel forsaken, but God will stand with us at all times and during all circumstances. VI. VOCATIONAL NEEDS If we submit ourselves to God, He will deliver us from all evil, and will preserve us unto Himself. If we continue in the work of God, we must have His delilverance.
