INTRODUCTION: We need to look at 12 spies. 10 were cowards, 2 were spirit filled. 1. Kedesh Barnea for every church. 2. Kedesh Barnea for every preacher?

I. WHAT IS THE MEANING OF KEDESH BARNEA?

1. Means a crisis (Regeneration, Sanctification, filled with Spirit).

2. Means Decision (Caleb and Joshua).

3. Means Water of Strife.

4. Means to sin against the Lord, not filled with Holy Spirit. Eph. 5 :18.

5. Means to be on the border of Canaan.

6. You have dwelt long enough in this mount.

II. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO CROSS JORDAN?

1. Death to the Self Life.

2. Goodbye to the wilderness. (No honey there).

3. Wholly sanctified.

4. Wholly follow the Lord.

5. Moses is dead and a new leader is to be followed. Moses stands for written word (Pharisees filled them). Joshua stands for the Lord (must follow Him).

III. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO DWELL IN CANAAN?

I. To live in a land of milk and honey.

2. To live in a land of perfect love.

3. To live in a land of complete victory.

4. To live in a land of gigantic battles.

5. To live in a land where God is real, not seen in Egypt, wilderness.

6. Means to live in a land where sin is not tolerated. (Ill of Achan).

7. Means to live in a land where God wants His people to be. Isa. 62:4.

IV. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE SHUT UP IN UNBELIEF?

1. Shut up to defeat.

2. Shut up to confusion.

3. Shut up to distrust. (Can't trust God or one another).
