DEADNESS IN OUR CHURCHES AND THE SOLUTION
I. WHAT IS THIS DEADNESS DOING?
1. Killing preachers.
2. Killing evangelism.
3. Grieving Holy Spirit.
II. WHAT HAS PRODUCED THIS DEADNESS?
1. False doctrines.
2. Turning from true God.
3. Worshiping a false god.
III. WHAT IS THIS DEADNESS?
1. Religion without God.
2. Faith without repentance.
3. Praying without Holy Ghost, Jude 1:20.
IV. WHAT WILL THIS DEADNESS DO?
1. Deceive us. When is a man deceived?
2. When think go heaven without being born again (John 3:1-8)
3. When think you can be saved in your sins, Mt. 1:21; Jn. 8:21, 24.
4. When you think you are immune from deception, I Cor. 10:1-22.
5. When think that God will not send sinners to Hell, Ps. 9:17, 58:18-19;Rev. 19:1-6.
6 When you think you can have true worship without God, Jn. 4:22-24, I Cor.ll:17; Rev.22;9; Mt.4:I0; Jo.5.21.
V HOW THIS DEADNESS CANNOT BE SOLVED (and Absorbed).
1. By high.powered singing.
2. By high-powered organization.
3. By seeking for gifts of Spirit.
VI. HOW THIS DEADNESS CAN BE SOLVED?
I. Repent, Job 42:1-6, Mt. 3:2.
2. Believe. Mk. l:15;Mk. 16:15-16;Ac.319-23.
3. Obey, Ac. 5:32; 2.37-39.
4. Tarry until Spirit be poured upon us from on high, Is. 32:1 3-20;Lk. 24:49.
VII WHAT HAPPENS WHILE WE TARRY?
While we tarry and wait God:
1. Crucifies flesh.
2. Purifies heart, Ac. 15:8-9; l0:44;Gal. 3:2.
