HOW TO FACE THE
NEW YEAR---DEUT. 31:8
Introduction:
The great leader Moses
is getting ready to pass off the scene. He calls the people of Israel
together and presents Joshua to them and tells them in essence, that God
has been with him, and he
will be with Joshua--and they really have nothing to fear or be upset
over!
Such
advice is sound advice as we enter the New Year of 2002, God's guidance,
protection and blessing will be no less this year than it has been in the
past.
While
we may not know what the future holds--we know who holds the future.
With
this confidence we can face a new year knowing that God is our constant
companion. We can truly face the future with a positive outlook.
