A COMMON SALVATION

Text: Jude 3

It is common, not in the sense of being cheap or worthless,
but because it is universal and for all.

I. IT CONCERNS ALL CLASSES
Some things are suited to the rich and others to the poor,
but salvation is for all. God is no respecter of persons,
and there is only one way of salvation for rich and poor
alike.

II. IT COMES FROM A COMMON SOURCE
Salvation is of the Lord; it is divine in its origin and
power.

III. IT MEETS A COMMON NEED
All are lost; therefore all need salvation.

IV. IT IS ADAPTED TO ALL AGES AND PEOPLES
The Gospel is never old-fashioned, out of date or out
of place. It is the only message that can be preached in
all the world and to every creature.

V. IT IS THE THEME OF THE WHOLE BIBLE
Learn to accept it; publish it; defend it.
