"Preach The Word"

Alive Forevermore!
Rev.1:18

These glorious words, "alive for evermore," spoken by the resurrected Lord, are the most wonderful words to ever fall upon the ears of mankind. Every other religion that has ever been started - - and there are thousands - - has built monuments and statues to memorialize its founder. Those religions are dead and worthless now, and so are the ones who started them. The Christian religion is alive and well, and so is its founder. He is risen, the only Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is "alive for evermore."

1. THIS IS THE GREATEST FACT OF HISTORY

There have been many great events recorded in the pages of history. There is the record of creation, the fall of man, the building of great cities, and the fighting of wars. But, when Jesus arose from the dead, it was the greatest fact that history could ever record. The fact that He is "alive for evermore" can bring salvation to everyone who will believe the message and trust this risen, living Savior.

2. THIS IS THE GREATEST PROMISE TO MAN

After Jesus had been crucified and put to death on a cruel cross, they buried Him in a tomb that had been hewn out of solid stone in the side of a little hill called Calvary. The tomb was sealed with a large stone and guarded by Roman soldiers. His disciples did not understand about His death and were scattered and bewildered because their leader was gone. But, when Jesus appeared to them after His resurrection and assured them that He was "alive for evermore," their hearts were glad. What hope for a world lost, without hope!

3. THIS IS THE GREATEST HOPE FOR THE FUTURE

The word "hope" means a ground of happy expectation.   Without hope for the future, we can never make it through the dark and rough places of life.  Many people have no hope and as a result, they die by degrees--end their own lives.  Many have believed on Jesus and have received this eternal life through Him.  This is a real, sure, and eternal hope.  He is "alive forevermore."  Believe and receive Him now.
