INTRODUCTION: 1. The Bible is filled with commands. 2. The Bible is filled with comfort. 3. The Bible is also filled with cries, and this is what I want to talk with you about in this message. I. The Cry Of Sin--Genesis 4:9-10. The voice of Abels blood was cryingfrom the ground because of the sin of Cain, and the cry of sin can be heard today by those who have spiritual ears. A. We hear the cry of sin in our communities--through racial strife, dope. sex. - B. We hear the cry of sin in our churches--strife, splits. jealousy, carnality. C. We hear the cry of sin in our country, all the way from the White House to the school house. D. Most of us can hear the crx of sin in our conscience as we lay in the bed at night because we are living such a backslidden life. II. The Cry Of Suffering--Matthew 27:46. A. He suffered distress--thirst, wounds. B. He suffered defilement--sin was laid on Him. C. He sutlered desertion--God left Him. D. He suffered damnation--Galatians 3:13. III. The Cry Of The Servaut-- Matthew 25:6. Behold. the Bridegroom cometh and when He comes, there will be: A. A release--from sin, sickness, and sorrow. B. A rebirth--our bodies will be born again C. A revelation--we will know as we are known. D. A reward--for those who are faithful. V. The cry of separation--Luke 16:19-3 Notice the cries of the rich man in hell. A. Too late--cried for water--verse 24, mercy--verse 28 brethren--verse 28- -but it was too late. B. Lonely--nobody to hear. C. Loud--dead earnest. D. Lasting--lost forever. SERMON FROM DR.
