Text:Romans 10:9-13 INTRODUCTION: Only an omniscient God could conceive a plan to justify, purify, and satisfy sinners like you and me. I. The Foundation Of Salvation--verse 9. The foundation of salvation is not His example or His sermon on the mount, but His death and resurrection. A. His death was for redemption--I Corinthians 6:18. B. His resurrection was for righteousness--Romans 4:25. II. The Faith Of Salvation--verse 10. Not with the head, but with the heart man believes unto salvation. God is more concerned with the affections than He is the intellect. A. Hurting heart--Psalms 40:1:3, Acts 16:30-32. Broken and hurting from the sting and hurden of sin. B. Hungry heart--Matthew 5:6. You hold up a piece of bread to a hungry starving child. His eyes would sparkle. So is the Gospel to those whom the Holy Ghost has afflicted. C. Humble heart--Matthew 18:4, Mark 1:40. III. The The Finality Of Salvation--verse 9. Thou shalt be saved. Gods children have eternal life--a life with no end to either end. A. Saved from death--spiritual death--Il Corinthians 5:1, Philippians 1:21. B. Saved from damnation--John 3:36. IV.The Freeness Of Salvation--verses 12-13. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved--that word "Lord means "master" and carries the thought of repentance and surrender. A. This verse is true--Isaiah 1:16-18. B.
