I. The Seriousness of That Night
A. Serious Because of the Degree
1. He instructed the believer (v.21-22)
2. He inspected the blood (v.13)
3. He identified the brethren (v.23)
4. He intervened in their behalf
B. Serious Because of the Decision
1. It was a family decision
2. It was a faith decision
3. It was a fruitful decision
C. Serious Because of the Danger
1. Danger of not respecting God's Word
2. Danger of not realizing God's wrath
3. Danger of not regarding God's warning
..........The Lord has spoken
..........The Lamb has been slain
..........There loved ones would be saved
..........Their location would be secure
II. NOTICE THE SORROW OF THAT NIGHT
A. Because of the death of the first born.
B. Because of the doom it forecast.
