HEAVEN

TEXT: PHILIPPlANS 3:20-21

INTRODUCTION: The Bible mentions at least three different heavens:

1. Atmospheric Heavens-First Heaven

2. Planetary Heavens - Second Heaven

3. Heaven of Heavens - Third Heaven

It is the Heaven of Heavens or the abode of God that we want to draw our attention to in this outline.

I. THE FACT OF HEAVEN.

A. Literal place. (Hebrews 11:10)

B. Located place. (Isaiah 14:13)

C. Lofty place. (Job 22:12)

II. THE FOLK OF HEAVEN.

A. Religious church member? (Matthew 7:21)

B. Ruling denominationalists?

C. Redeemed children of God! (John 1:12)

III. THE FLIGHT TO HEAVEN.

A. Leave on time. (1 Corinthians 15:51-52)

B. Look back to tomb. (I Corinthians 15:55)

C. Leave our trials.

IV. THE FARE TO HEAVEN.

A. Paid for by blood of Saviour. (I Peter 1:18-19)

B. Provision made for every sinner. (Romans 10:13)

C. Promise of eternal security. (Jn. 5:24)

CONCLUSION: Make your choice today. It is either Jesus or the devil, turn or burn, Heaven or hell. There is no middle ground. To go to Heaven, you MUST be born again.
