HEAVEN
Text: Rev. 21-22
Introduction:
Heaven is described in the scriptures in several ways in order to get a
better understanding Of its glories:
1. In Luke 20 it is called a far country suggesting its vastness.
2. In Hebrews 11 it is spoken of as a city giving a better understanding
of its population.
3. In 2 Peter is named a kingdom because of its orderliness.
4. Paradise is a name given it in Revelation, telling us of its delight.
5. Christ called it the Father's House, speaking of its relationship of a
heavenly family.
The scriptures speaks of three Heavens;
1. The atmosphere's heaven, made by God Himself, on the second day of
creation.
2. The starry heaven of space Psalms 19:1.
3. The third heaven is the dwelling place of God.

Names given heaven:
1. Lambs Wife
2. Great city
3. Holy Jerusalem
II. Measurement of Heaven
1. Walls-216 High
2. 1500 miles wide, 1500 miles high, and 1500 miles long. Fashioned like a
pyramid or cubed shaped. God throne on top of the pyramid.
III.Matarials of heaven verse 19 and 20
12 stones
1. Jasper-gold-glass like
2. Sapphire-blue-diamond shaped
3. Chalcedony-sky blue with other colors streaked through
4. Emerald-bright green
5. Sardonyx-red and white stone
6. Sardius-redish
7. Chrysolyte-transparent gold
8. Beryl-seed green
9. Topaz-yellow green
10. Chrysoprasus-green
11. Jacinith-violet
12. Amethyst-purple

V. Things missing in heaven

8. No Sun-Rev.21:23
But above all no sinners will enter there.
