2. Sound believers

I. GROUP OF GOD'S PEOPLE. (v. 1-10)

A. He encouraged sound doctrine to individuals as a group.

1. Older men (40-up) LEAD the flock.

Sober - serious

Grave - Honest

Temperate - Even mannered (not up & down)

Faithful - Steadfast in faith

Charity - loveable

Patient - under control, able to withstand

2. Older women (40-up) LOVE the family

Behave in holiness -

Slow to speak - not false accusers

Wine -

Teacher - good things

Younger women - love husband - children

Discreet - controlled passion

Chaste - modest

Home keepers -

good/obedient - not today's vows

3. Young men (40 down) LOOK to the future.

Serious minds - v. 6

Pattern - v. 7

Doctrine - V. 7

4. Speak well - v. 8

4. Servants - LABOR in faith

Obey

Work hard
