GLORIOUS REALITIES

TEXT: "Glorious things are spoken of thee" Ps. 87:3.

1. GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF GOD

"According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust" I Tim. 1:11; Rom. 1:1.

2. GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF CHRIST

"But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them" II Cor. 4:3, 4; Rom. 1:9, 16.

3. GLORIOUS CHURCH

"Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinide, or and such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish" Eph. 5:25, 26, 27; Acts 20:28.

4. GLORIOUS POWER

"That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness" Col. 1:10, 11; Eph. 3:16.

5. GLORIOUS LIBERTY

"The creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God" Rom. 8:21; Gal. 5:1.

6. GLORIOUS APPEARING

"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ" Titus 2:13; I John 3:2; II Tim. 4:8.

"For our conversation (citizenship) is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ; who shall change our vile body (our body of humiliation) that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself" Phil. 3:20, 21.
