THE HANDS OF JESUS

1. CHASTENING HANDS

"And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness" Act 13:11; Heb. 12:5, 11.

2. COMFORTING HANDS

"Verily I say unto you. Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them" Mark 10:15,16.

"And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last" Rev. 1:17; 5. of 5. 2:6; Luke 24:50.

3. PROTECTING HANDS

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any may pluck them out of my hand" John 10:27, 28; Deut. 33:3.

4. FILLED HANDS

"Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God" John 13:3; 3:35.

5. WOUNDED HANDS

"Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe" John 20:25, 27, 28; Zech. 13:6.

6. RESURRECTED HANDS

"Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. And when he had thus spoken, he showed them his hands and his feet" Luke 24:39, 40; John 20:25-29.

"I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death" Rev. 1:18.
