PROFESSIONS WITHOUT POSSESSIONS

TEXT: Titus 1:16

I. THERE IS NO CHANGE

II Corinthians 5:17 - "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

No change in life, looks, love.

II. THERE IS NO CHARITY

II Corinthians 13:1-17

For Bible, brethren, blessed hope.

III. THERE IS NO CHASTENING

Hebrews 12:8 - "But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons."

They can wrong Christ, Church, and Christians.

IV. THERE IS NO CLEANSING

John 13:11 - "For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean."

The blood cleanses. The book cleanses.

V. THERE IS NO COMFORT

John 14:16 - "And I pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever."

The Scripture, Spirit and Saints comforts.

VI. THERE ARE NO COMMUNICATIONS

Galatians 6:6 - "Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things."

A. Some never use their talent.

B. Some never use their time.

C. Some never use the tithe.

D. To communicate means to share what we have.

VII. THERE IS NO CONGREGATING

Psalms 26:12 - "My foot standeth in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the Lord." Hebrews 2:12

A. No desire for spiritual food.

B. No desire for spiritual friends.

C. No desire for spiritual fellowship.
