THE
TRYING OF YOUR FAITH
(James
1:1-12)
These
verses in James chapter 1 make it clear to us that our faith is going to
be tried from time to time. Trials
are not the exception to the Christian life, but rather, the norm in the
Christian life. All of us are
tried by the normal circumstances of life.
(Give explanation......)
There are the normal
trials, then, there are those trials in which the heat is turned up and it
seems that we are brought to a boiling point.
All of us are going to experience those kinds of trials from time
to time, but we can face them a whole lot easier when we realize that God
has His hand on the control, and those trials are for a specific purpose.
Trials are not intended to
bitter us, but better us. I
trust that as I give you this message on "The
Trying Of Your Faith" that God will use it to encourage your
heart.
