Jesus Is Never Too Late

Jn 11:20-23

Recorded in this chapter 11 of John, we have the account given us of the raising of Lazarus from the dead. Now when Jesus heard that Lazarus was dead, it is said of Him, that it was four days before He came to Lazarus house. Martha as soon as she Jesus was nigh, went out to meet Him, and said unto Him. V- 21 "Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died:" But Jesus answered her by saying in V-23 "Thy brother shall rise again." Thus we see that even though Martha thought Jesus was too late, he wasn't and Lazarus did rise again.

Folks that truth is still with us today, Our Lord Jesus isNever Too Late, if we will but give Him opportunity, we will find Him Never Too Late to do some marvelous things

Note With Me- Jesus Is Never Too Late

1: To Comfort A Troubled Soul:

Mt: 28-29 "Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

29- Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."

(A) Now I know we are living in a day of scientific achievements, and the space age, and man has seemingly come to believe that the old fashion way is out dated. But Thank God The Lord Jesus can still comfort that Troubled Soul.

Recently I visited an old saint of God in the hospital that was down, and lonely, I played for her some of the Songs of Zion, and pretty soon she was shouting the Victory. The Lord had done more for her than all the rest. " Jesus Had Comforted Her Troubled Soul."

(B) Many times I become troubled, But thank God Jesus comes around just in time, for He is never too late to comfort a Troubled Soul

2: To Answer An Humble Prayer:

Jer. 33-3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and will show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

(A) I know there are many that do not pray as they use to, but that has not changed the Lord in any way, He still answers that humble prayer.

He Answered Hannah's prayer- For a son

He Answered Hezekiah's prayer- against Schennicherib

He Answered Elijah's prayer- Mt. Carmel

He Answered Elisha's prayer- Dothan

(B) If there has ever been a time that people ought to pray, I believe it is today.

Ill: Preacher got down to last dollar, But he prayed, and God sent Food, and Money. He will answer an Humble prayer.

(3) To Restore A Christian Joy:

Psm. 23:2-3 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures, He leadeth me beside the still waters, 3 He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name sake.

(A) There are many things that have caused us to lose the Joy that the Lord intends for us to have, many that at one time had great joy, now have lost that joy, but, Jesus is never too late to restore that joy.

(B) Remember Thomas, He was not present with the other disciples when Jesus appeared, and because of this he said "I will not Believe."

There are so many Thomases today, they have lost the real joy of their salvation, because they are not present when the Blessings are flowing.

(C) But thank God, Thomas was where later and he had his restored. Jesus is never too late to restore the joy to that precious soul that will but seek Him.

4: To Send An Old Fashion Revival:

IIChron: 7:14" If my people which are by my name ..."

(A) Seems there are many who are ready to throw in the towel. But, listen The Lord is still ready to send Revival.

1. Humble Ourselves

2. Sincerely Pray

3. Seek God's Face

4. Turn From Wicked Ways

God Says He Will

1. Hear From Heaven

2. Forgive Our Sins

3. Heal Their Land

(B) I have found a Revival Spirit more lately than in many years before, But people must want a revival.

5: To Save A Sinners Soul If They'll Trust:

Lk: 19:10" For The Son Of Man iscome to seek, and to save that which is lost."

(A) Jesus will save There's nothing worth any soul going to Hell over.

(B) If the Lord was willing to go to the Cross to keep sinners out of Hell, He is surely willing to hear them when they call unto Him.

Ro: 10-13" For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

6: To Catch Away His Waiting Bride:

1 Thess: 4-16" For The Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them.
