   Dr. T. T. Martin was born in Smith County, Mississippi, April 28, 1862.  While in preparation for a career in law, God called him to preach the Gospel.  He was pastor, conference speaker, and revivalist.  Many were convicted and converted under his ministry.   
   He death occurred on May 23, 1939. His burial was in Gloster, Mississippi. Three scriptures were put on his tombstone--John 3:16; Acts 16:31; John 5:24.
