Behold Your God Introduction: Text: Isaiah 40:9--"Behold Your God" The people who were in exile were informed that a way to the homeland was about to be opened. The messages was the the response of Heaven to the greatest needs of their souls. We need a fresh glimpse of God in His Word and through faith. There is no greater thing in our lives than to recognize God and know His redeeming power and abiding companionships. There is no higher experience in life upon the soul of man that this. I. Behold Your God As the One Who Makes Life Worthwhile. A. Gloom comes in human life. B. No one should deprive himself of what trust in God can bring. C. Abraham heard it in the home of his youth. By adorning his westward trails with altars to his God, he gave his decendants a new regard for the things of God. II. Behold Your God As the One to Whom You Are Responsible A. God has a moral law as sure there is the law of gravity. B. The wages of sin have always been death (Rom. 6:23). C. Wrecked lives and remains are found on every highway and strand where sin has its way. III. Behold Your God as the One on Whom you are Dependent. A. Nothing can take the place of God in your life. B. We need men of God who will say to the people,"Behold your God." C. National leaders should recognize our dependency upon God. Conclusion:
