"Preach The Word"
THE "I WILLS" OF CHRIST
"I will not leave you comfortless" (John 14:18).
1. I Will Give My Flesh
"I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this
bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh,
which I will give for the life of the world" (John 6:51; 10:11, 17, 18).
2. 1 Will Give You Rest
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you
rest" (Matt. 11:28; Heb. 4:3). 3. 1 Will Give You Wisdom
"For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall
not be able to gainsay nor resist" (Luke 21:15).
4. 1 Will Confess You Before My Father
"Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also
before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men,
him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven" (Matt. 10:32, 33).
5. I Will Pray
"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that
he may abide with you for ever" (John 14:16).
6. 1 Will Send
"Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away:
for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart,
I will send him unto you" (John 16:7).
7. 1 Will Make
"And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men"
(Matt. 4:19; Mark 1:17).
"Thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many
things" (Matt. 25:21).
8. 1 Will Do
"And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may
be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it"
(John 14:13, 14).
THE "I WILLS" OF CHRIST 9. I Will Draw
"And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. This he
said, signifying what death he should die" (John 12:32, 33).
10. I Will Come
"I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you" (John 14:18).
"If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou
shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee" (Rev. 3:3).
11. I Will Never Leave Thee
"Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such
things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake
thee" (Heb. 13:5).
"I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you" (John 14:18).
12. 1 Will In No Wise Cast Out
"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I
will in no wise cast out" (John 6:37).
13. I Will Raise Up
"Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will
raise him up at the last day" (John 6:54, 39, 40, 44; I Cor. 6:14).
"Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by
Jesus, and shall present us with you" (II Car. 4:14).
14. I Will Come Again
"And if I go. and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive
you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also" (John 14:3; I Thess.
4:16; Acts 1:10, 11).
"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we
shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for
we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him
purifieth himself, even as he is pure" I John 3:2, 3).
