"Then cometh the end" (I Cor. 15:24).
1. God Speaks By His Son
"God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the
fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son,
whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds
(Heb. 1:1, 2).
2. God Pours Out His Spirit
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of
my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
and your young men shall bee visions, and your old men shall dream dreams"
(Acts 2:17).
3. God Makes Known What Shall Be
"But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to
the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days" (Daniel 2:28).
4. Treasure Heaped Together
"Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness
against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped
treasure together for the last days" (James 5:3).
5. Perilous Times Shall Come
"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come" (II Tim.
3:1, 2-5, 12).
6. Scoffers Shall Come
"Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers,
walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his
coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were
from the beginning of the creation" (II Peter 3:3, 4).
7. Future Kingdom Established
"And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's
house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted
above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it" (Isa. 2:2; Micah -1:1).
