CARRY ME HOME
Genesis 50:25
"And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying God will surely visit you, and ye shall carry up bones from hence."
Joseph wanted his body taken back home and when the deliverance came for Israel his body was taken home.
Three Homes:
There are three homes dear to the heart of God's people.
I. THE FAMILY HOME:
This is a sacred place and one the was ordained of God even before the church. Nothing is so precious as a Godly family.
II. THE FAVORITE HOME:
For the person who loves God, as this one did, the church home is a favorite place. Just to be among God's people, worshipping the Lord, singing the songs of Zion and being fed, from he Word of God.
Ill. THE FUTURE HOME:
II Corinthians 5:1
‘For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not make with hands, eternal in the heavens."
The family home is broken by death and the church homes gives up the saint, but the heavenly home is so much better that none of us would want to change what has happened.
