"Preach The Word"





BY THIS

John 13:35

"By this shall all men know that ye are my disciple. If ye have love one to another."

We could speak of many things about this person*s life that has certainly marked their character, but there is one mark that stands out above all others. That mark is "Love."

Love is a mark of a Christian.

I. A LOVE FOR THE LORD:

Jesus said, "Love the Lord thy

God with all thy heart, and with all

thy soul, and with all thy mind."

Surely this dear soul loved the

Lord in that manner.

 

II. A LOVE FOR THE CHURCH:

Faithfulness to God*s House has been a mark of this person*s life. While there were many things they could not do, they were faithful to the place of worship.

Ill. A LOVE FOR THE PASTOR:

Paul wrote this to the Corinthian church. ‘Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me." This dear soul has fulfilled this command and has followed the pastor all the way.

IV. A LOVE FOR THE SAINTS:

The family of God was precious to this one and the joy of their life was to be with them.

Now they are together with all who have gone before.
