"Verily, I say unto you, Where-soever this gospel shall be
preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath
done, be told for a memorial of her"(Matt.26:13).
The memorials to this dear saint are far greater than time would permit
or my limited vocabulary could speak.
We think of those, and they are many, whose life this teacher has
touched.
I. THE LITTLE ONES:
Almost every family in this church has had their children go through
the class that this precious teacher taught. All you would have to do is
visit that classroom and see the labor of love she put into getting the
message of Jesus into their little hearts.
II. THE LASTING ONES:
When that teacher walked out of that classroom where they had touched
the little lives, that vibrant life began to touch others. As this one
walked the halls on the way to the choir, there was a smile, a greeting,
a spreading of love that flowed from in side. Such a testimony touched
those who has been around a long time.
Ill. THE LOOKING ONES:
Paul wrote his last letter to Timothy and in the fourth chapter, verse
8, he said, "And not to me only, but unto all them also that love his
appearing." This precious saint looked and longed for Jesus to come
and now we have a greater longing because this death makes heaven more
real.
