"So when even was come, the Lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny."

Some received Christ as Savior in the days of their youth while others are saved in the middle age. Then there are a few, like this one, saved in the "eleventh hour" of life.

The Bible has something to say about those who are saved the "eleventh hour." There are three things to take note of.

I. THE DELIVERANCE OF IT:

The invitation kept going out until the last hour. What mercy God extends to those who wait until the last hour.

II. THE DELIGHT IN IT:

The Lord of the vineyard commanded the pay to be the same for that one that came in the eleventh hour. The reward may not be as many, but heaven will be just as sweet.

III. THE DANGER OF IT:

With only one hour left there is a danger of missing the vineyard altogether. You should never think that you could wait until that eleventh hour.

Paul said, "Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."
