Philemon 10-11
"I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my
bonds: Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to
thee and to me."
If there was any word that could describe this brother it would be the
word "profitable."
I. PROFITABLE TO THE LORD:
He had a testimony that all who came in contract with him knew that
he belonged to the Lord.
II. PROFITABLE
TO THE CHURCH:
Never has there been a more dedicated member. His church was the best
and he was quick to rise in defense for any criticism.
III. PROFITABLE TO FRIENDS:
The multitudes would tell you, as they have me, that he was a real
and genuine friend. He was always ready to help.
IV. PROFITABLE TO THE FAMILY:
He had a love for his family like few dads ever have. He knew where he
was going and wanted to make sure they met him there.
