Present Help
For A
Precious Hour
Psalms 46:1
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
Death is a sorrowful time for the loved one who remain and we are thankful for the friends of this family who come today to share this great loss with this family.
To know Christ as personal Savior is precious in an hour such as this and I want to direct this family to Him today, knowing He is able to meet your every need.
Three Things:
I want to share with you three things that you can be assured of in this precious hour.
I. A PRESENT HELP:
Psalms 46:1
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
If any person of this Bible knew the deep sorrow of loss, David, the Psalmist, did, yet he found that his Shepherd Lord was a present help.Dear family, He is present right now to help.
II. A PERSONAL FRIEND:
Hebrews 13:5
For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
When Jesus preached in Nazareth He quoted Isaiah 6:1, declaring of One who would come to "bind up the brokenhearted," and then He revealed that He was that One.
Ill. A PRECIOUS SAVIOUR:
Revelation 3:20
"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock, if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to Him."
That Present Help is knocking at your door. Let Him come in and be to you what you need.
